SNOW began to fall once again over Warrington and the town woke to scenes of a beautiful winter wonderland.
After a weekend of snow showers, the Met Office forecast for more to hit the region this week, and as promised in the early hours of this morning, Tuesday, a white blanket fell over the north west.
Many excited residents woke in the small hours while the snow was fresh to create snowmen.

While the news of more snow was not a positive notion for commuters, with Warrington facing delays on its roads across the town this morning, the beautiful scenes of a snow-covered town were still met with excitement.
