Another Warrington teen reported missing as help sought to find 17-year-old girl

ANOTHER Warrington teenager has been reported missing, with police appealing for anyone who sees her to get in touch.

Cheshire Police has now launched an appeal for help in finding 17-year-old Tia Thomas, just minutes after issuing a similar missing person appeal for 15-year-old boy Jaydan-Lee Bowen.

Tia was reported missing from her home on Winmarleigh Street, near Warrington town centre, at 11.44pm last night, Sunday.

She is described by police as being white, around 5’5″ tall and of proportionate build, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Although she is from Warrington, Tia also has links to Runcorn and Wrexham.

PC George Unsworth said: “It has now been 15 hours since Tia was last heard from, and we are becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare.

“We have been conducting a number of enquiries to locate her since she was reported missing.

“We would now like to appeal to anyone who may have seen her or has any other information on her whereabouts to get in touch with us.

“We would also like to appeal directly to Tia to get in touch and to let us know you are ok, as your friends are growing increasingly concerned.”

Anyone with any information regarding Tia’s whereabouts is asked to call Cheshire Police on 101, quoting IML2004208, or visit cheshire.police.uk
