BBC The Traitors fans say Minah ‘fumbled’ after ‘massive mistake’

Tonight’s (Wednesday, January 15) episode of The Traitors was filled with twists, turns and fireworks, particularly as iconic traitor Linda was finally caught. Fans shared that Minah “fumbled” as she decided to recruit Charlotte to be the newest traitor.

It was a tense roundtable as Linda became defensive to try and cover her tracks, and as she tried to point the finger at Leanne another heated argument bubbled up. Linda received the most votes, including one from her fellow traitor Minah who previously promised “sisterhood”.

As Linda revealed she was a traitor she was met with cries of joys from the other contestants, who after losing ten faithfuls had finally caught their second traitor. However, just as the faithfuls think they can start to sleep safely Claudia asked Minah to recruit a new traitor to help her now that she was on her own.

Minah went through her options, but admitted to Claudia that she was looking for another woman as she really wanted a strong team of “female traitors”. After mulling over between Frankie, Lisa and Charlotte, it was Charlotte who received the letter to be asked to meet in an isolated spot after dark.

The episode ended before viewers knew whether Charlotte had decided to accept the position, but fans weren’t too happy with Minah’s choice. Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter), @_UCEYY wrote: “MINAH OH MY GOD U FUMBLED IF U RECRUITED JAKE YOU WOULDA WON”

@GarrMunro added: “Oh, Mina, wrong choice with Charlotte. If she says no and has to be murdered, gonna cast more suspicion on you.” @therealcjhill shared: “Oohhh Minah what are you doing. Why would you pick someone that could win. Massive mistake. You needed to pick Leanne or Alexander and serve them up.

@LukeelkinsTV echoed the fear: “I suspect Charlotte will bring Minah down, possibly her biggest mistake so far.”

Charlotte, a 33-year-old business director decided to fake her Welsh accent at the start of the show, one she’s managed to maintain so far. If she accepts Minah’s offer, will she let her fellow traitor in on the secret, or will it be used against her?

When asked how she would feel if she was to be a traitor, Charlotte shared: “I know I will have to control my reactions if I’m picked to be a Traitor. I was watching the first Australian series the other day and the guy described it articulately when he said he felt this adrenaline surge through him, and he had to do all he could to just push it down.

“That will be me 100%. I will have to suppress every natural reaction and then just really breathe, quietly and subtly. I think I’ll have such a thrill if I’m a Traitor, and if I’m not, I’ll be listening hard. Often when I play games with friends, like Mafia, you can find out quite a lot from just listening.”

Traitors is on at 9pm every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
