Fans of The Traitors took to social media while watching the BBC show on Friday (January 10) night. They shared how “they had won”.
Now in its second week, the show that specialises in mind games between contestants has racked up a fair amount of drama in its third series. In an episode that aired earlier this week, viewers were unimpressed at the treatment of faithful Kas as he was banished from Ardross Castle.
Amid claims that he was being bullied and targeted by the other contestants, Kas spoke out in an Instagram post labelling his fellow faithfuls as some of the “loveliest” people he’s met. Kas opened up to the rest of the cast that he felt as though he couldn’t play the game properly as he was being excluded from the group, but this didn’t help settle anyone’s worries as he received the most votes to be eliminated at the round table.

Anna was asked by the two remaining traitors Linda and Minah to be their third traitor, but Anna politely declined the offer after she had spent the majority of the episode trying to convince her close friends that she is trustworthy.
The episode began with Minah admitted she “could cope” with the murders, and Linda agreed with “yes, absolutely”. As the faithfuls waited at breakfast, it was revealed that Livi was the next contestant to be murdered by the traitors.
On X (formerly known as Twitter), fans were quick to celebrate the decision, @mademetoxic wrote: “Fozia is there omg – she survived. We won.” @swarlasbunker added: “THANK GOD SHE’S GONE THE RELIEF.”
@nathansmoods penned: “We wont get the round table moment moment now with liv being humbled” and @veryberrycosmo continued: “Can’t wait to see Livi on uncloaked” followed with a crying emoji.
Livi, a 26-year-old beautician and model was the eighth faithful to leave the competition. When asked why she wanted to be part of the show, she said: “My mum’s a fan and she thought I’d be really good on it. It’s something I’ve watched, and I absolutely love but not something I ever saw myself going on, because I never thought I’d have the opportunity. I thought I’ll just apply for it, but I didn’t take it too seriously until I got a bit further in the process.”
When asked what she would bring to the game, she added: “I used to think I’d be amazing as a Traitor, but I’ve thought about it and I’m actually an honest person. I think if I lie, nothing good will happen for me, so I always avoid lying. I do really want to be a Faithful and I think I’d be a good Faithful. I think I get on with everybody, I’m a good problem solver so I’d be able to help the team track down a Traitor. I’ve always sussed people out in my life and if somebody has lied to me, I’ve known straight away. I think I’m a good people reader.”
Traitors is on at 9pm every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
