Series 22 of Dragons’ Den started tonight (January 9) as Peter Jones, Deborah Meaden, Sara Davies, Steven Bartlett and Touker Suleyman returned to the BBC show.
Many budding entrepreneurs will be hoping they have what it takes to receive investments from the Dragons, in order to bring their latest creations to life – including fitness and health products.
But as the first episode began, some have taken to X, formerly Twitter, claiming they “miss the old Dragons’ Den” while others want to “bring back the good old days of widgets”.
Some even said they “don’t like” the Guest Dragons.
One person posted: “We miss the old Dragons Den Years ago they would of told someone how silly it was to sell their house Don’t like the extra person It wasn’t broke Their to nicey nicey #dragonsden”
This viewer commented: “Blimey! What a load of over-produced, patronising nonsense! It’s been going downhill for years but that’s it now! Enough. I’m out. #DragonsDen #Cringe”
As one shared: “Don’t like these extra Dragons. Bring back the good old days of widgets and thingymejigs to hold your shower head up. #DragonsDen”
Someone else wrote: “Used to love #dragonsden back in the day when the dragons were allowed to be honest. Pure sh*t now.”
Who are the Guest Dragons on Dragons’ Den 2025?
Fitness expert Joe Wicks and TV style guru Trinny Woodall are among the stars joining the Dragons’ Den panel as guests throughout the new series.
Fashion and retail entrepreneur Emma Grede will also return to the show after she was featured in the latest series.
Joe said: “I can’t wait to step into the den as a guest dragon and meet all the brilliant and passionate entrepreneurs.
“My own journey has shown me that with the right mindset and a lot of hard work, anything is possible.
