Bradley Walsh left absolutely stunned after The Chase star makes shock move

Bradley Walsh has been left absolutely stunned after a contestant’s shock move on The Chase.

Despite not taking home any winnings, the host praised the player and said “how proud” his family must be.

George from Tonbridge, Willis from Liverpool, Margaret from St Neots and Aaban from Rotherham worked together to try and snag the cash prize.

They faced off against Shaun Wallace but after three of the intake were caught by the Chaser, 19-year-old Aaban was left to compete against him alone.

However, this final chase proved too much for him, seeing the player only manage seven correct answers.

Despite walking away empty-handed, Bradley Walsh was in awe at the ITV contestant, telling him: “You’re 19, you’re on your own and you just beat a MasterMind champion. Your family will be dead proud of you.”

Chaser Shaun also commended him, adding: “You’re still a winner. To make TV history as the youngest player to get to the final with that type of money, you should be proud.”

Aaban remained happy despite the loss, telling the two: “I’m really proud. I didn’t think I’d get this far so to come here and make it to the final with £100,000. I don’t mind not winning. This is enough.”

Bradley went further, telling the player: “It’s not your fault. You are 19 and there were so many questions outside your age remit.”

Discussing the departure of his teammates, the host added: “You needed a full homes” target=”_blank”>house, but you’re going to go on to do great things.”
