Cheshire Wildlife Trust is offering half-price membership for the new year.
The trust, the region’s leading conservation charity, is offering new members the opportunity to join from as little as £1.50 a month.
The aim is to encourage people to make a positive impact on the planet, despite concerns about rising bills and the cost of living.

The trust’s 17,600 members help with various conservation initiatives.
These include planting woodlands at sites like Saltersford Farm near Holmes Chapel, creating meadows in community spaces, and restoring rivers such as the Gowy, the Dee, and the Dane.
They also protect carbon-storing peatlands like Danes Moss, coastlines, and marine habitats along the Dee and Mersey estuaries and the Irish Sea.
The trust provides refuges for local wildlife at its nature reserves and in communities, rewilds local towns and cities, and campaigns for a better future for nature and wildlife.

“They’re at the heart of our national life, healing the natural world and bringing us closer to it, making wildlife accessible to those who have least.
“The Wildlife Trusts combine local action, with national impact, as part of a global vision for nature’s recovery.
“They are bringing wildlife back and restoring the natural world we love so much.
“Please support them as much as you can.”
