Emergency services were called to Kearsley after a crash between three cars.
The crash happened on Kearsley roundabout at around 7pm this evening causing heavy delays in the area.
Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service were called and used a hearth kit and lighting to make the area safe and were in attendance for around 40 minutes.

Farnworth and Kearsley First Councillor Sylvia Crossley confirmed that three cars were involved in the crash and emergency services were at the scene.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said: “Just before 7pm this evening (Friday 10th January), two fire engines from Farnworth fire station, along with the Enhanced Rescue Unit from Leigh, were called to reports of a road traffic collision involving three cars on Bolton Road, Kearsley.

“Crews arrived quickly at the scene. Firefighters used a hearth kit and lighting to make the vehicles and area safe. A man was treated by colleagues from North West Ambulance service at the scene.
“Firefighters were in attendance for around forty minutes.”
Greater Manchester Police and Northwest Ambulance Service have been contacted for a comment.
