Five men have been arrested after police raids in Farnworth, as part of an probe into stolen work vans in the area.
Bolton police, supported by Greater Manchester Police’s (GMP) Tactical Aid Unit, have carried out warrants at five addresses in the area.
Farnworth (Image: Greater Manchester Police) The investigation, which was also aided by intelligence passed by the community, alongside a “meticulous investigation and proactive policing” has resulted in the arrests of five men.
(Image: Greater Manchester Police) The men, aged between 20 and 45, were all arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to steal motor vehicles.
(Image: Greater Manchester Police) Officers also seized a quantity of drugs containing all classes of illicit substances and other items officers believe were used to steal vehicles.

Detective Sergeant Matt Quayle of Greater Manchester Police’s Bolton district, said: “This morning’s (Thursday) warrants are the culmination of a thorough investigation by our Neighbourhood Crime Team.
