A supposed spiritual healer ‘astounded’ followers in Blackburn after a woman walked for the first time in 15 years.
Crowds turned out to the Grand Venue for the visit Haq Khatteb Hussain on New Year’s Eve. Haq Khatteb Hussain is known across the world and features in countless videos where he is seen ‘blessing’ people. The ‘pir’ or spiritual guide is known more famously for ‘blowing’ into a microphone whist reading prayers.
His supposed ‘accomplishments’ have been viewed millions of times making him a household name across Pakistan.
In a video filmed in Blackburn a follower says: “We are still at the Grand Venue in Blackburn.
“We have just done dam (blessings) and after 15 years our sister here has started walking.”
The woman who appears to be struggling to stand can be heard saying she fell in November 1992. She said she had struggled for many years following surgery.
She is then asked by Haq Khatteb Hussain in Urdu, when was the last time she was able to walk.
The woman who is said to be from Oldham replies: ‘15 years’ and then takes a number of steps whilst still hunched over.

People could be seen placing their one hand on their foreheads and another on the back of their heads. Others held up phones as Haq Khatteb Hussain ‘blew’ into a microphone.

The videos were shared on New Year’s Day by both followers and supporters and others who were curious over the ‘authenticity’ of the series of events.
Haq Khatteb Hussain has 2.8m followers on Facebook and more than 500,000 on Instagram. His events are normally completely sold out with long queues forming early during the day.
