High street brand launches huge sale with clothes sold ‘cheaper than at charity shops’

A popular British high street shop known for its designer discounts is delighting shoppers with its legendary ‘yellow sticker sale’, offering items at prices as low as 50p.

Fashion blogger and TikTok personality Becky Chorlton, the face behind ‘Becky’s Bazaar’, took to the platform yesterday (Wednesday, January 15) to share a must-watch video for TK Maxx fans and bargain-hunters. Urging her followers to head to their nearest store, she revealed: “This is your warning that the TK Maxx yellow sticker sale has officially begun and you can get stuff for as cheap as 50p.

“Now you might be wondering how I know this and that’s because I was up at the crack of dawn this morning and literally saw all of the staff putting yellow stickers on things and guys, the bargains you can get in here right now are crazy. I swear it’s literally cheaper than the charity shops.

“Look for the clearance banners and I promise you you won’t be disappointed. These two tops were both 50p each and this denim jacket was £26 which I thought was pretty good.”

Enthusiasts of ‘thrifty content’ will know Becky for her savvy shopping revelations, including her finds in car boot sales and charity shops. The twice-yearly clearance event sees prices slashed on clothes, shoes, homeware, and beauty products.

Becky discovered some “mad shoes” with yellow stickers, including cowboy boots for a steal at £40. She also advised her followers not to overlook the bag section, having found a green shoulder bag for just £10 while browsing a TK Maxx store.

Becky excitedly shared: “I’m not even joking, now is the time to secure next year’s Christmas presents because all of the gift sets are heavily discounted. I was even tempted to get next year’s Christmas crackers and Christmas jumpers.

“There’s also loads of bargains to be had in the kids section and the homeware bits are in the yellow sticker sale as well so make sure you run and don’t walk to your nearest TK Maxx.” She captioned her post: “RUN TO TK MAXX NOW!!! Their yellow stick sale has officially started! It’s bargain central!”

Her TikTok clip showcasing her finds has racked up 492,000 views and over 34,000 likes with upwards of 200 comments at the time of writing. Comments from users included tales of previous sticker sale antics and their own bargain finds.

One remarked: “When I worked there people used to pick them off and stick them on anything they fancied and demanded it at that price, even a Gucci bag once.” Another boasted: “I got some faux leather trousers last year for £2.50!”

While yet another shared their love for the sales event: “I love yellow sticker time.” Eager shoppers chimed in with further comments such as “I’m running to the jewellery section” and “Amazing! Thanks for the info.”
