Hollyoaks star Jorgie Porter has revealed the foral-themed name for her newborn baby daughter she shares with fiance Ollie Piotrowski.
In an exclusive interview with OK magazine the actress opened up about welcoming her second child and revealed the couple have decided to call their daughter Peony Porter Piotrowski.
Jorgie, who is known for playing Theresa McQueen in Hollyoaks, announced the arrival of her new baby back in December, sharing a picture of her baby girl’s tiny hand on social media. The 36-year-old also paid tribute to her nurse at Wigan hospital for her support during the birth.

The actress decided not to share the name of her new daughter at the time, despite knowing what she wanted to call a girl since she was last pregnant with son Forest two years ago. However, she has now opened up about why she chose the name Peony.
She told OK: “We’d not heard of anyone with the name Peony and I love the flowers, they’re so beautiful. But we were literally desperate to tell people her name before someone else had a baby and chose it before us! We didn’t give her a middle name because she’s Peony Porter Piotrowski which is already quite a lot for a kid to say, isn’t it?”
Peony was born at 10.40am on December 10, and came home from hospital the next day, Jorgie shared. She was delivered via a planned c-section and “was a whopper”, according to the mum.
Jorgie said: “I knew she was going to be big because I felt massive the second time around. She was officially 8lbs 14oz but I’m rounding it up to 9lbs because I’m tiny and feel like a hero! She was just a little chunk.”

The surgery lasted around two hours and Peony arrived crying and a little “squished”, according to the star. “I just remember hearing the first cry, and then Ollie saying, ‘She’s not exactly beautiful is she?’ which was the funniest thing ever. She was all squished up because she’d been head down for a good few weeks!”
The Hollyoaks star first confirmed her pregnancy back in May in an episode of ITVBe’s ‘Drama Queens’, revealing she and Ollie were due to become parents again after welcoming son Forest in November 2022. She said to the camera at the time: “So guys… guess what? I am pregnant.”
Jorgie tragically lost quadruplets at 14 weeks back in 2021. She then suffered the same heartbreak six weeks into her second pregnancy the following year. She is now adamant that Peony will be her last baby as she has anxiety around being pregnant following her heartbreaking losses. She added: “There’s only been about 15 months since 2021 that I haven’t been pregnant, and I need me back, I need my body back.”
