The romantic drama stars Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh in the lead roles, as their lives are chronicled from their first meeting to all of the various stages of their journeys together.
Before the release of the film, the poster of the movie went viral, prompting memes to be created as well as sending the internet into overdrive.
The poster in question featured the lead pair sitting on a merry-go-round, with a horse from the fun-ride getting in on the action on the still, but looking questionable with a crazy reaction.
This led to fans photoshopping the horse into iconic movie scenes and littering the internet with various funny memes.

It even got a major feature in Stephen Colbert’s Late Show monologue, where he implied the animal had taken some hard drugs to be reacting in the way it was.
The horse popped up on the screen for a brief interview with the television host as he made fun of the viral sensation.
All of the traction from the poster alerted Andrew to the shenanigans where he was later asked about it.
He told Entertainment Weekly: “I saw it and I thought, ‘Oh, that’s distracting,’ I’m sure they know what they’re doing though.

“That’s probably just me. I’m just probably hyper-vigilant. I’m probably the only one that’s noticing this freaky horse in the foreground.’ And then I went away on a retreat, and I had my phone off for six days.
“Then, I came back from the retreat, and it was a part of Colbert’s opening monologue and all the memes that followed. I was like, ‘Okay. I guess other people noticed.'”
He continued: “It is very distracting and prominent in the frame,” before adding: “It was a mistake.”
However, that didn’t mean the actor didn’t find it funny himself as he expressed: “Listen, it’s created a lot of joyful content for a lot of people, including myself. I cried with laughter when I discovered all the memes.”
The film follows lead characters Almut and Tobias who are brought together in a surprise encounter that changes their lives.
It spans over decades as the pair fall in love, start a family and battle a life-threatening illness, all while supporting one another.
