Darts world champion Luke Littler left A League of Their Own star Micah Richards red-faced after his brass assertion on the show’s latest episode.

In a yet-to-air segment, the 17-year-old sensation was quizzed on his selection of walk-out music – Pitbull’s Green Light.

Littler confirmed that the choice was due to his love of WWE and inspired by a visit to Orlando, Florida to watch the professional wrestling’s flagship event, Wrestlemania 33 in 2017.

“It’s just a memory that will live with me forever [going to Wrestlemania],” he told host Romesh Ranganathan. “I was 10, going to Florida to watch the wrestling – a big thing I’m into.”

‘Green Light’, featuring Flo Rida and LunchMoney, was one of four official anthems for the event along with ‘Like a Champion’, by Danger Twins, ‘Flame’, by Tinashe and ‘Am I Savage?’ by Metallica. Pitbull performed Green Light at the event.

Littler also confirmed he has no plan of changing his entrance music.

“What’s that feeling like, though?” Former Premier League winner Micah Richards asked the teenager. “Walking out and you feel like the man,” he added.

“I am the man,” Littler replied, to the delight of the show’s guests and audience – leaving Richards in shock.

Micah Richards was surprised by the teenagers confidence.

“You’re 17 though aren’t you – so you’re not really a man!” He replied as fellow panellists Jamie Redknapp and comedian Tom Davies agreed that Luke Littler “burst on the scene” better than Big Meeks.

Littler defeated Michael van Gerwen 7-3 earlier this month to smash his record and become the youngest-ever darts world champion. It was his second consecutive final after becoming a professional player, having lost to Luke Humphries at 16 years old the year before.

A League Of Their Own with Luke Littler will air on Sky Max at 9pm on Thursday, January 16.
