A seaside town in Lancashire has been named among Britain’s cheapest to buy a property in a list by The Daily Mail.
The newspaper said that despite some coastlines being expensive spots to buy property, “there are plenty of locations offering coastal living to suit all budgets.”
It created the list based on figures from Rightmove and Blackpool was named among the cheapest seaside towns to buy property.
The Daily Mail also shared some of Britain’s most expensive seaside towns using Rightmove data.
Coming in at number six was Blackpool with an average property price of £133,717.
One property that’s currently on the market in the town is this three-bedroom semi-detached house that could be yours for £155,000.
The newspaper said: “Famed for its tower, illuminations and sticks of rock, Blackpool can prove a very affordable option for living by the sea if you have an open mind.
“Away from arcade games, there are plenty of museums and art galleries including The Grundy Art Gallery and community arts space The Old Electric – and the Lake District less than a two-hour drive away.

“With 141,000 people living here, plus tourists who flock every summer, it’s a busy seaside town. Popular residential areas include Poulton-le-Fylde and Lytham St Anne’s.
