Liverpool could be missing up to four players as the Reds take on Manchester United in the Premier League this weekend. The sides are set to meet at Anfield with 23 points already between them in the table.
Arne Slot has at least one center-back missing with Joe Gomez facing a spell on the sidelines with the hamstring injury that saw him limp off against West Ham United last weekend. Ibrahima Konate, the Reds boss said, could make a return against Manchester United, but Jarell Quansah will partner Virgil van Dijk if the Frenchman is unable to start.
Like Konate, Conor Bradley is nearing a return from injury and could be available for the next game. Despite swirling rumors around the future of Trent Alexander-Arnold, though, it is the Liverpool number 66 who is expected to get the nod regardless.

Federico Chiesa has played just five times for Liverpool since arriving from Juventus in the summer and while he isn’t thought to be injured at the moment, he has been in and out of the matchday squad. He had a mild illness for the Spurs game and then simply wasn’t selected against West Ham.
“I’ve said it many times already,” Slot explained last weekend. “We are working on two things. We are working on his match fitness and whenever we can, we try to bring him with the team.
“But he was on the bench during the week and we thought it was better for him to have some extra training sessions instead of joining us. So it’s the constant balance we have to find between getting him fitter and fitter and letting him join the team.”
Liverpool.com says: Slot has managed the injury situation of the team really well so far and even with Gomez going off, the Reds are not in a bad position at the back. If Quansah is needed to come in and start, that should not be a concern. If Konate is back sooner rather than later, then that will be a major boost.
