Things are heating up as Love Island All Stars returns for its second series on ITV. Familiar faces from previous series of Love Island are on the hunt for their second chance at love, and it’s sure to be a drama-filled occasion.
Maya Jama is set to return after previously replacing Laura Whitmore as the host of the main Love Island in 2023. This All Stars edition is based in South Africa, with Maya already teasing fans with clips of her enjoying the weather on her Instagram. The presenter also posted: “Happy #LoveIslandAllStars dayyyy to those who celebrate.”
The first series of the ITV dating show aired in January 2024 and saw exes Liberty Poole and Jake Cornish return to the villa, which of course sparked fireworks. This year’s Islanders were recently announced, and fans of the show have already shared their opinions.

On X (formerly known as Twitter), @Habibakatsha wrote: “Love Island all stars doesn’t make sense (to me) because most of these people have been probably been around each other, seen each other so why do you need to go on the show (again) to find love with a mutual? Lol.”
@BAB00SHKA_1 joked: “Curtis on All Stars I don’t think I can handle another season of his girl the bare minimum because he wants to make everyone coffee in the morning” in reference to former Strictly Come Dancing pro Curtis Pritchard making his appearance in the new series.
Here is everything you need to know about this year’s show.

Molly captioned the post: “‘Home is where the heart is’ – We’ve officially bought our first home we couldn’t be happier.” With Tom commenting to thank everyone for the love.
This year, tensions are already expected to be high as exes Gabby Allen and Marcel Somerville will both be in the villa. The pair coupled up in the third series when Gabby entered the villa as a bombshell.
In the real world, the couple lasted a year before calling it quits amid claims that Marcel cheated on Gabby while on holiday. Marcel married a few years later, but recently divorced before heading back to the villa.
On his return, he admitted: “I thought that I’d completed love and found my happily ever after – but the universe had a different plan. Somehow every time my life’s at a crossroads, I’ve got the opportunity to do Love Island. So I thought, why not?”
