Manchester United have three weeks to complete their transfer business before the January window closes for another season.
The deadline for Premier League teams to finish any deals they wish to complete before the end of the season is February 3. United have already been linked with several possible new signings in recent weeks, with the rumours intensifying since the New Year.
Ruben Amorim has been United head coach for two months and has been spending that time getting the current squad accustomed to his system and style of play. It remains to be seen if any new faces will move to Old Trafford before the deadline, with signings dependent on whether United can raise funds via player sales.

With that in mind, The Manchester Evening News takes a look at the latest United transfer news and gossip that has generated headlines over the last 24 hours.
United are continuing to be linked with a push for PSG striker Randal Kolo Muani. The Manchester Evening News have already reported that United are not ruling out the possibility of signing the France international this month.
According to Sky Germany reporter, Florian Plettenberg, United have stepped up their interest in recruiting Kolo Muani before the transfer window closes. The report has claimed that the Reds are actively pursing a deal to sign the striker on loan until the end of the season, with the option to buy in the summer.
However, United will reportedly face competition from a host of top European clubs for Kolo Muani’s signature. It has been claimed that Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa, AC Milan and Juventus are all interested in signing the 26-year-old.
Elsewhere, United have been handed a blow in their hopes of signing Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres. United have been heavily linked with signing Gyokeres ever since Amorim’s appointment as the club’s head coach.
According to Portuguese outlet Record, United will face competition from Bayern Munich for Gyokeres’ signature. The report claims that the Bundesliga giants are weighing up whether or not to try and sign Gyokeres, but add that a move is not expected to happen until the summer, if at all.
