Manchester United have appeared to mocked Arsenal stars William Saliba and Jorginho after courting controversy for their social media activity in the wake of their FA Cup triumph.
United’s official X account caused a stir on Sunday when they simply tweeted: “Justice,” after knocking the Gunners out of the competition. This tweet was believed to be in reference to Arsenal receiving a penalty in the second half for a soft challenge by Harry Maguire on Kai Havertz.
That spot kick was saved and United would go on to win the penalty shootout 5-3, which is when the post was sent. Despite it being a subtle dig at the officials, it has been reported that the Reds will not be charged by the FA for their social media activity.

Having sailed close to the wind, United continued their digs at Arsenal first by referencing the ‘ball flying’ when Bruno Fernandes scored, a reference to Mikel Arteta’s complaints after Newcastle beat the Gunners in the first leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final at the Emirates Stadium last week.
Now United have gone in on Saliba and Jorginho after their mistake against the Reds. In a video posted to Instagram, the official United account is seen praising Joshua Zirkzee for his turn of pace against Arsenal.
However, the video zooms in on Saliba and Jorginho colliding as Zirkzee breaks away from them, repeating the footage from different angles in a clear attempt to mock the Arsenal players. It ended up being a brilliant evening for Zirkzee as the Dutchman would go on to score the winning penalty that saw the Reds book a place in the fourth round where they will face Leicester City at Old Trafford.
Amorim said after the dramatic win: “Thankfully, the players were there. They fight, and what we talk about before the match is not technical or tactical, but this.
“We have to compete no matter the situation, and we competed today. I think they [Arsenal] had more chances, but I think we deserved to win.
“Arsenal maybe didn’t deserve to lose, but we deserved the win, with the way we played and the way we fought. It was really tough at the beginning and not having the ball, but without the ball you can control the game.”
