Mumbai: SVKM’s Mithibai College, on Saturday, concluded its annual intercollegiate cultural festival, Kshitij 2024. The three-day event featured various activities, competitions, and performances, attracting college students from across the state and country. Each day concluded with ‘Pronite’, featuring performances by artists such as Sonu Nigam, Tony Kakkar, Mithoon, and Yashraj.
The festival began with events such as ‘Warcade Mayhem’, a gaming competition, and ‘Bend It Like Beckham’, a football tournament. The first day also included a speaker session with Dino James and Shahrul in conversation with Tarsame Mittal, discussing insights into the music industry.
The second day of ‘Kshitij 2024’ included a vlogging competition, a solo classical dance competition, and a chess tournament. Students participated in mock IPL auctions, debates, and music band performances. Filmmakers Raj & DK held a session sharing their creative process and storytelling methods.
On the final day, the festival hosted a short film competition called ‘Static Story’ and a shoe painting contest, ‘Sole Expressions’. Actor Sonu Sood attended to promote his film, ‘Fateh’.
The festival combined art, sports, and entertainment, providing a platform for students from various colleges to participate and interact.
