Netflix series Missing You was filmed across the north west – See the locations

Harlan Coben’s Missing You will arrive on Netflix on New Year’s Day and if you tune in, you might see some familiar north west scenery.

While Coben is American and some of his books have been set in the US, some of his Netflix adaptations have been filmed in the UK, including Fool Me Once and his newest series Missing You.

The mystery-thriller will consist of five episodes and stars Richard Armitage, James Nesbit, Sir Lenny Henry and more.

Missing You filming locations in the UK

Harlan Coben’s book is set in New York City but the TV series is set in and filmed in the UK.

Missing You was partially filmed in Bolton, including scenes in Le Mans Crescent and Victoria Square.

At the time of filming, earlier this year, cameramen could be seen shooting and reshooting actress Rosalind Eleazar walking across the square and pausing at a coffee stand, looking at newspapers and then walking off.

The series is also thought to feature shots from Cooper Street and Castle Street in Bury town centre.
