How much time are we spending on screens?
The average UK adult spends five hours a day on their devices. For younger adults aged 16-24, screen time is even higher with women averaging 7.5 hours daily and men clocking up 7 hours, 7 minutes, according to Claire Hayden at HAYDENSWAN Eyecare.

What is the 20-20-20 rule and what are the benefits?
“To prevent digital eyestrain, follow the 20-20-20 rule,” Claire advises.
She explains: “Every 20 minutes, take a 20-second break to focus on something 20 feet away.
“This simple habit gives your eyes a much-needed rest, reducing pain and irritation.
