Parcel lockers on supermarket car park broken into and raided

A set of parcel lockers have been raided and emptied in a theft.

The InPost lockers on the Lidl car park on Dale Street in Radcliffe is thouht to have been broken into over the weekend (December 28-29).

An engineer is set to go to the site and repair the lockers.

A InPost spokesperson said: “InPost is aware of an incident at our lockers on Dale Street in Radcliffe.

“We take the security of our lockers and the parcels within them extremely seriously and regret any inconvenience caused to our customers.

“We are working closely with Radcliffe police on this matter and have submitted a report to assist in their investigation.

“An engineer will be onsite to assess and repair the damage as a priority.

“InPost is committed to the safety and security of our lockers and continually review and enhance our security measures to prevent such incidents in the future.”

InPost has urged customers to contact their customer support team if they have any issues related to the incident.
