Ryan and Adam Thomas were left shouting at their TV screen alongside the rest of their family as they brother Scott made a bombshell admission during his return to the Love Island villa.
Manchester PR boss Scott, 36, has headed to South Africa in the hope of finding love in spin-off Love Island: All Stars, almost eight years after he first appeared on the ITV2 dating show.
During his initial time on the series, Scott was coupled up with Kady McDermott and they dated for a year after the show finished before calling it quits. But Scott has recently revealed that Ryan – who is best known for his former role as Jason Grimshaw on Coronation Street – and Waterloo Road star Adam are convinced that he will find true love this time around.
Keen to find out, the soap star siblings tuned in to ITV2 on Monday night (January 13) as the latest run of Love Island: All Stars got underway. It saw the first coupling of the series, with the viewers getting to choose which returning islander was paired with who.
Former couple Gabby Allen and Marcel Somerville found themselves back together while Curtis Pritchard and Kaz Crossley, Catherine Agbaje and Nas Majeed, Luca Bish and Olivia Hawkins, and Ronnie Vint and Elma Pazar were all put together as new couples.
Scott, meanwhile, was paired with series five star India Reynolds. But before the first episode of the series came to an end, the new couples were surprised by former Love Island winner Ekin-Su Culculoglu who was revealed as the first bombshell, nearly three years after she last appeared on the show.
The moment left Adam and Ryan, as well as their partners Caroline and Lucy, mum Gail and Ryan’s daughter Scarlett all on tenterhooks as they filmed their reaction to the episode, and appeared convinced Ekin-Su would pick Scott to couple up with. He was then heard telling India: “She slid into my DMs a few times…”
The episode then came to an end leaving the Thomas family screaming and shouting, with some of them unable to stay in their seats at the thoguht of having to wait until Tuesday night’s (January 14) episode to find out more. “I’m dying,” Ryan cried while Adam joked: “Phone Scott now and ask him what happened!”
Captioning their reaction video on Instagram, Ryan wrote: “She slid into his DM’s… You can’t end it on that!!! Is she going to pick Scott?” And fans were obsessed with the scenes and it led to a demand.
