Flyers forward Noah Cates played a role in the win, scoring the Flyers’ opening goal during the second period. It was a nice goal, too, as the 25-year-old forward scored on his knees after receiving a great feed from forward Bobby Brink.
With this excellent goal, Cates now has scored in five straight games. He has been one of the Flyers’ hottest players and is hitting a new level because of it.
Cates showed during the 2022-23 season that he has the potential to be an impactful offensive contributor. In 82 games, he set career highs with 13 goals, 25 assists, and 38 points. While he had a slow start to the 2024-25 campaign, he is now starting to break the ice offensively big time.

It will be fascinating to see how Cates builds on his hot streak from here. He is unstoppable right now, and the Flyers are benefitting greatly from it.
