The Peak District walk named the UK’s ‘best sunrise’ hike

A walk in the Peak District has been named the best hike to see the sunrise in the UK, according to a new study.

Mam Tor topped a list of the ten best walks in the UK and has gone viral on TikTok for its gorgeous sunrise views. It comes as many walkers seize the later sunrises at this time of year, with the day beginning just after 8am in January.

The list, compiled by experts at Nationwide Vehicle Contracts, looked at the number of TikTok posts and Google search data for the UK’s most popular walks to deduce the rankings.
