Officers are tracking down ‘at least two men’ who burgled a home while the victim was away celebrating the New Year. Greater Manchester Police says it is investigating a burglary that took place on Heap Road, in Rochdale.
The incident took place on Thursday, January 2, at around 3am. Following enquiries, GMP believes that at least two men broke into the victim’s home while they were away for the New Year.
Two vehicles were reportedly stolen from the property. They have since been recovered, GMP says. Police are hunting for the suspects involved.

They believe that one of the men was wearing a black Napapijri coat. A GMP spokesperson added: “Officers investigating this incident have followed up with several lines of enquiry and are now in a position to ask for the public’s assistance.”
