Tributes paid to man, 52, with ‘heart of gold’ at centre of Little Hulton murder investigation

Tributes have been paid to a man with a ‘heart of gold’ who was found dead at a property in Salford. Officers were called out to Hope Hey Lane, in Little Hulton, following concerns for a person’s welfare on Saturday morning (January 12).

A 52-year-old man was tragically found dead at an address on the street. He has since been named as Terence ‘Tez’ Horan. A woman in her 40s was arrested on suspicion of murder.

Friends of Mr Horan have paid tribute to the ‘amazing lad’ at the centre of the murder investigation. Chantelle Holland told the Manchester Evening News: “Tez had a heart of gold, he would do anything for anyone. He really didn’t deserve to die this way. So sad.”

“We do not believe there to be a threat to the wider public, but you will likely see an increased presence of police in your area whilst we conduct further enquiries. If you have any information which may assist our investigation, or any dashcam, CCTV, or doorbell footage from the area in the last 24 hours, please get in touch with us.
