VIDEO has shown water pouring into Warrington Bus Station this evening, Saturday.
The bus interchange is said to be closed, with photos also showing people waiting outside in the cold for services.
Photos and videos show water seeping into the bus station through the roof, which is leaking heavily.
Warrington Guardian Camera Club member Gavin Bruce Jones, who took the videos and photos, said: “Staff have taken most of the lights out as water is running down them.
“They have more or less evacuated the bus station. Everyone is waiting outside for a bus.”

In June 2023, Warrington Borough Council’s cabinet approved a contract for roof repair works at the site for more than half a million pounds.
Once completed, it was said that the roof repair would make the bus interchange roof ‘watertight’, protecting the fabric of the building from further water damage.
In July last year, the council said: “The work on the roof has only recently been completed, but early signs are positive.
“We are cautiously optimistic that the issues with the roof have now been solved.”
